Echo House Electric was founded by licensed electrician JC Ruiz, a certified and trained architect and experienced general contractor. Since opening the doors in 2012, Echo House Electric has been fully dedicated to client satisfaction. In all that we do we strive to work meticulously and with integrity in order to provide high-quality results in all of our projects.

We work on private and public sector projects including old buildings, new construction, residential, commercial and institutional properties. EXPERIENCED LEAD ELECTRICIAN

The Lead Electrical is responsible for leading an electrical crew on commercial and residential construction sites. Their primary role is to ensure planning, laying out, installing, and wiring electrical components are completed, as per project drawings, specifications and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

A Lead Electrician is distinguished from Electrician by its responsibility for providing lead work direction, guidance and training to electricians and other designated employees in addition to performing the full range of electrician duties.
​
Job Duties
Installs, maintains and repairs panels and branch circuit wiring; bends and installs various types of conduit; installs raceways and panels; installs lighting systems, receptacles, fixtures and switches; fabricates brackets, holders and supports; replaces and repairs indoor and outdoor lighting systems and fire alarms.
Installs interior and exterior wiring for equipment and appliances; wires new and remodeled buildings; adjusts transformer output voltages; replaces fuses and works with low and high voltage; works on live panels, wires, circuits and transformers.
Installs and repairs control and distribution apparatus, including, but not limited to, motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit breaker panels.
Analyzes blueprints, wiring schematics and drawings of electrical systems to determine processes for efficient installation of new or upgraded systems.
Identifies materials that are needed for jobs and/or needed for warehouse stock and orders materials.
Responsible for coordination and communication of electrical crews for duties and daily tasks.
Inspects work to ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
Participates in training and providing day-to-day lead work direction to Electricians and Electrical Helpers; participates in assigning work and ensures conformance with code standards; provides information, guidance and training on work procedures; assists in maintaining a fair and open work environment in accordance with the company’s commitment to teamwork, mutual trust and respect.
Reviewing scope of work as per contracts and identifying, documenting and communicating change orders.
Communicate with other construction personnel (general contractor, other trades, etc.) on job site to coordinate an efficient installation.
Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies and established work practices.

Working Conditions
The employee works in a field environment and may work in confined spaces; in high, precarious places on scaffolding and ladders; exposed to electrical energy and high voltage. The employee must have the ability to use hand- and power-tools repetitively.
